Josef Adriel de Guzman’s research interests include food anthropology, anthropology of migration, and archaeology. His current research focuses on the eating habits and practices of Filipino domestic workers in Hong Kong.

Mark Jalalum’s research focuses on continental philosophy, with a special concentration on the phenomenology of imagination within the works of philosophers Edmund Husserl, Paul Ricoeur, and Jacques Derrida. His ongoing Ph.D. thesis project pulls together Husserl’s and Ricoeur’s theories of imagination with a view to articulating a species of imagination central to the constitution of language, meaning, and the lifeworld.

Ma. Donna Rebong’s research interests are disability history, legal history, colonial history, social welfare, and the history of the marginalized sectors. Her current research focuses on the reconstruction of notions of disability during American colonial period. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports and drawing.

Dan Paolo Yema’s field of research interests include mental health, low intensity psychological interventions, and environmental psychology. He is also a licensed clinical psychologist in the Philippines

Ma. Jenina Nalipay’s research interests include teacher motivation and well-being and teacher professional development. She is a licensed psychologist, psychometrician, and currently, an Assistant Professor at the Education University of Hong Kong.

Juan Miguel Leandro Quizon’s fields of research interest are urban spatial culture and queer studies. He was an Asian Graduate Student Research Fellow at the Asia Graduate Students Fellowship Programme under the Asia Research Institute – National University of Singapore in 2015.

Mar Ticao’s research revolves around the urban history of Manila during the late Spanish and American colonial periods. She is an architect and urban planner before pursuing postgraduate studies in History. Outside academia, her interests extend to urban exploration, as well as the delightful pursuit of discovering new Japanese snacks.
